From the first steps, the house literally invites us into its den.
The pontoon becomes the link between the outside world and the decorative aside that awaits us behind these walls. Driven by a vital need for space, freedom, far from an ounce of partitions or doors, this audacious bet is brilliantly successful. It is therefore not without surprise but with admiration that the layout of the house was entirely designed by the decoration firm COUTUME{STUDIO} , from the kitchen to the bathroom, including the office and the living room. Each element has a story that comes to life at a flea market or simply born in the imagination of the tandem.
A visual rendering like no other! This is when we start adding up the linear meters. Karine Pelloquin and Frédéric Aguiard establish the horizontality of the house and dialogue transparently with the garden, via the perfect glass dimensional echo. The island sits at five meters, just like the majestic solid wood table... even the accessories are to scale. The office is no exception to this rule, with its three-meter raw steel table, a twelve-meter bookcase, a clever combination of extensions for storage...
Nuggets are hidden on both sides, found, reinvented, reinterpreted, diverted by their stylistic vision...
